A Method of SAR Jamming Based on Dual-digital Channelized Frequency Storage

    • To improve the probability of target interception, the operating bandwidth of radar jammers is usually widen by adding receiving channels to reduce frequency scanning time as well as achieving quickly searching for targets. However, this also brings the problem of incomplete detection information of target due to the presence of captured targets crossing multiple channels, which affects the effectiveness of jamming. A dual-digital channelized frequency storage structure with cross channel processing is proposed in this paper to achieve cross channel channelized receiving and transmission. Firstly, for the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) reconnaissance, time-frequency analysis is used to estimate the intra pulse parameters of SAR, and the SAR data fusion and recognition are completed by combining the pulse description words within and between channels. Then, for the SAR jamming, the 'pulse group step frequency shift and multi-tap' method of joint modulation between the range and azimuth directions is used to generate complex jamming pulse signals. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed method forms an effective area of jamming for SAR under different bandwidth ratios of targets and corresponding jamming modulation conditions.
