    High-precision 4D millimeter-wave radar ranging algorithm based on the combination of coherent spectrum CZT and Rife correction

    • Aiming at the problem of how to improve the ranging accuracy of 4D millimeter-wave radar, this paper proposes a super-resolution range estimation algorithm that combines CZT with Rife correction based on phase information fusion, building upon an analysis of the error sources in traditional FFT-based ranging. First, the initial spectrum is obtained using FFT, followed by spectral zooming of the target frequency band via phase information fusion-based CZT. Finally, the Rife algorithm is applied to correct the spectral peak position, significantly enhancing ranging resolution and accuracy. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves high-precision ranging within millimeter-level errors in multi-target dense scenarios, outperforming conventional FFT and ZFFT methods, while maintaining lower computational complexity, thereby reducing hardware computational requirements without compromising measurement accuracy.
