    • SINGLE-PLATFORM PASSIVE LOCATION HAS A SLOW POSITIONING SPEED AND IS NO LONGER ABLE TO MEET THE DEMANDS OF MODERN WARFARE FOR RAPID ACQUISITION OF BATTLEFIELD SITUATION AWARENESS CAPABILITIES. DUAL-PLATFORM COOPERATIVE LOCATION HAS GOOD TIMELINESS, STRONG ADAPTABILITY, AND HIGH LOCATION ACCURACY. BASED ON THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF AIRBORNE CROSS-DIRECTION FINDING COOPERATIVE LOCATION AND THE BATTLEFIELD ADVANTAGES OF PASSIVE LOCATION, THIS PAPER STARTS FROM THE PRINCIPLE OF DUAL-PLATFORM COOPERATIVE LOCATION, ANALYZES THE MAIN FACTORS AFFECTING LOCATION ACCURACY AND CONDUCTS SIMULATION, AND ON THIS BASIS, PROVIDES ARRAY POSITION PLANNING, FLIGHT ACTIVITY METHODS, AND TYPICAL WORKING PROCEDURES, WHICH HAVE STRONG REFERENCE VALUE FOR THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF DUAL-PLATFORM COOPERATIVE LOCATION.
