Basic Research on the Techniques of HPM Short Pulse Radar Receiver Protection

The new demand of military radar receiver protection techniques under the technical condition of modern high power microwave(HPM) is presented in this paper. The method of determination of the performance specification and establishment the technical specification system is given clearly. The factor which effects the semiconductor device's response speed and recovery time is discussed. And the methods to improve the device characteristics for the receiver protection system are analyzed in this paper.
