Application of DDC Chip in Radar Quadrature Demodulation Receiver

An IF signal direct sampling radar quadrature demodulation receiver based on DDC chip is developed. The effect of the gain and phase errors between I and Q channel on demodulation output is investigated, and the results indicate that the effect of the gain and phase errors can be entirely ignored in the system. Finally the performance of the receiver is tested, and the demodulation output is found perfect.
