    UWB LFMCW Radar Imaging Based on Dechirp Processing

    • In this paper, the UWB chirp pulses are processed by pulse-compression and short pulses are abtained. Using them, the imaging formula is derived according to detailed explanation of the BP theory. Then by applying sub-aperture theory to the BP algorithm, a fast BP algorithm is developed. Finally the computation amount of BP and FBP algorithms are theoretically analyzed and at the same time spot target and multi-spot targets are imaged by applying these two algorithms and the time spent on imaging are obtained. The speediness and validity are verified by computed results.
