Analysis of the Anode Power Supply Operation Principle for Radar Transmitter

    • The ground wave radar is the key device in the research on marine environment, radio wave propagation and related fields. Because of the poor usage and installation environment, as well as continuous running status, how to ensure reliable operation of radar, especially for the high power transmitting devices on the radar, through good maintenance has become an important subject of the use and maintenance department. The power system of a vacuum tube transmitter at the ground wave radar is introduced in this paper. The concept of deformed PWM control is proposed by analyzing the circuit principle of the anode high voltage switch power supply. Through the simulation and decomposition at the steady state waveform, the high reliability and efficiency of the power supply can be demonstrated. The crucial current and voltage waveform of the power supply are given ultimately. It is hoped to provide a reference for the usage and maintenance of other equipment.
