Development of Large Air-supported Radome

The principle, system composition and realization methods of air-supported radome are introduced. And the development and experimental research of a 26m diameter air-supported radome has been completed. The air-supported radome has function of automatic inflating and unattended, and has low insertion loss, low pointing error and low sidelobe raise, can meet the requirements of radar with high gain, high pointing accuracy and low sidelobe. Air-supported radome has the characteristics of good mobility and easy installation. It can be widely applied in the field of military and civilian radar, and has broad application prospects.
