    A Method of Stabilizing the Phase of Radio Frequency Signal in ROF System

    • The characteristics of radio over fiber (ROF) are introduced, and a method of stabilizing the phase of radio frequency (RF) signal in ROF system is proposed to meet the requirement of the phase stability in ROF when clock signal is transmitted in fiber. By analyzing the channel estimation signal and adjusting the optical fiber delay line, the system can stabilize the phase of RF signal in optical transmission system. The system demonstrates that the phase stability of RF signal is stable. In the environment which is changed from 0℃ ~40℃, 2GHz clock signal is transmitted stably in optical fiber whose length is 100 meters, signal phase changes less than 1 degree. The phase stability of system is greatly improved.
