Abstract
Restricted by the probing range, processing capacity, and antenna aperture, the performance of a single radar system has almost reached a limit. Collaborative probing scheme will be one of an important directions of radar technology development in thefuture. Traditional netted radar system adopts a data level or track level fusion scheme. Multiple nodes work relatively independent, which can be viewed as a “loose coupling” working mode, and thus cannot be well cooperated. The “tight coupling” probing framework, which incorporates signal level information fusion and resource collaborative management steps, will be an inevitable trend. This paper starts from the concepts, performance analysis and related techniques w. r. t the collaborative probing scheme, and focuses on the key technologies w. r. t. the “tight coupling” probing framework, which includes the correlation analysis of received echoes of netted radar, the system error registration method, the signal level detection method, the cooperative target tracking method, and the collaborative resource allocation method. This paper has important reference value for the development of the radar technology.
