Abstract
A multiple mainlobe and sidelobe jamming cancellation method based on subband adaptive processing for wideband digital array radar is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the jamming decorrelation effect of wideband interference dispersion in the subband is analyzed, and the key parameters affecting the jamming residue are given. Subsequently, a multi-beam joint jamming cancellation method based on subband decomposition is proposed, and the comparisons between intermediate frequency subband processing and baseband subband processing in terms of the characteristics of the subband filter, the residual interference dispersion in the subband, the interference cancellation, the onedimensional range profile, the computational complexity, and the hardware resource consumption are provided. Finally, the performance of the multi-beam joint jamming cancellation method based on subband decomposition is evaluated by computer simulation for broadband and narrowband, mainlobe and sidelobe combined jamming scenarios.
