Simulation and Analysis of Airborne Non-cooperative Bistatic Radar Clutter
-
Abstract
Airborne non-cooperative bistatic radar system based on pulsed radar signals as radiation sources has more advantages than traditional airborne non-cooperative bistatic radar system, but it also faces the problem of clutter affecting target detection. Firstly, the airborne non-cooperative bistatic radar clutter with the fixed radar transmitting station as the emitter is studied and the clutter geometry model is established. Secondly, the space-time two-dimensional characteristics of the clutter are analyzed for sidelooking array, slant-looking array and forward-looking array. Finally, the space-time adaptive processing (STAP) algorithm is introduced and the feasibility of the method of suppressing clutter is verified through improvement factor simulation, which provide a foundation for the target detection of airborne non-cooperative bistatic radar.
